Liverpool seems to be a step to find a partner for Luis Suarez in the outposts. The goalscorer of the first Dutch league, Wilfried Bony (23 years), could reach this winter on the Anfield Road.
Ivorian striker’s agent announced that Liverpool has contacted him regarding a transfer. Since the summer rumors about the interest of the Reds for the Ivory Coast striker, playing at Vitesse Arnhem since 2011, and now officials of the former European champions have decided to make the first step to bringing the top scorers from the Netherlands.
And Chelsea has shown interest in Bony, but it was not as prompt as Liverpool.
“Liverpool is one of the clubs that were interested in him. I talked to them. Bony’s obviously attracted interest due to his performance and consistency. Chelsea is another football club very interested,” said Wilfried Bony’s agent Dalibor Lacina, according to British media.
Came in early 2011 to Vitesse, Bony scored 35 goals in 54 matches for grouping from Arnhem. This season, he has four doubles and a hat-trick, being the leader of the top scorers with 15 successes this term.
