Rossoneri lost last weekend against Juventus at home, final score 0-2, but the coach of AC Milan, Clarence Seedorf, is delighted with his footballers’ performance against the Serie A champions.
Milan started better the game on Sunday at San Siro against Juventus, and even had some great opportunities to open the score in the first half. However, the Bianconeri were those who scored first through Llorente, then Tevez to score the second in the second half.
After the interval Rossoneri have not shown the same determination, but Seedorf was pleased with the way his boys played.
“I would say it was a very good performance. We knew that we were facing a great side, but we imposed our tempo on the game and eliminated their strengths as much as possible,” Seedorf told Sky Sports.
“Juve were able to sit back even more in the second half after taking the lead, but I am impressed with the growth of the team.
“We said before the game, this was another opportunity to prove to ourselves we are on the right track. We had many chances, but we were unable to turn them into goals and, as we saw tonight, that can prove costly.
“We have seen our spirit grow in the last few games, tonight we kept up with Juventus in terms of tempo and determination. Of course you need to take your chances to control games, but the team is getting there.” Milan tactician added.
