The team from Giuseppe Meazza will wear Nike sign on their kit for another 10 years from now. The announcement was made yesterday on the club’s official website.
Nerazzurri extended their agreement with American sports equipment manufacturer Nike. The well known company from the United States is with Inter since 1998, the year when they also began partnerships with other top teams in world football, as Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
Thus, at the end of the contract the two sides will honor a 25-year partnership deal, with Inter seemed to be one of the most profitable business for the American company.
Even if last season the Nerazzurri finished ranked 9th in the Serie A standings, club’s new project looks very promising, which has led Nike managers to extend the agreement with the Italian giants for the next 10 years .
“The new sponsorship deal further strengthens Inter’s position as one of the world’s top clubs and confirms its desire to continue expanding globally.” Was the statement made on the offial club’s website.
“A key driving force will be the realisation of a joint project to open specialised stores, and the rolling out of a new strategy for the development and marketing of Inter-brand merchandise.”
Inter started well this season, in the first round of Serie A winning 2-0 at home, where they received the visit of Genoa. It’s the first victory for Walter Mazzarri on the Nerazzurri’s bench, and the Italian tactician seems to be a promising project promoter for the Giuseppe Meazza grouping.
