Joan Laporta said he would do everything possible to bring on Paul Pogba to Barcelona this summer.
In the next two weeks there will be elections for the appointment of a new Barcelona president, Joan Laporta being one of the main candidates. He also led the Primera Division champions from 2003 to 2010 and now is preparing for a new period of success at the helm of the Blaugrana grouping.
The main target of Barcelona this summer is Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba. The Spaniards were already lauched an offer of € 80m, rejected by the Serie A champions. But Laporta said he will not give up easily and will do everything possible to bring the French footballer to the Camp Nou in this summer.
“There is a player we like very much – Paul Pogba,” Laporta told BBC Sport.
“We know the agent of the player – that is key in this operation. We will have to negotiate with the agent and Juve.”
Last summer Barcelona won the race for the transfer of Luis Suarez from Liverpool, and two years ago they managed to sign Neymar, another player wanted by many top clubs.
