Valencia reached at two consecutive defeats at home after the 0-1 with Rayo Vallecano. The Bats’ fans were extremely upset by this new failure and have demanded the resignation of President Manuel Llorente.
Rayo has hit at the Mestalla! The Bats have had great opportunities in the first half, but Piatti and Rami have not found the target. Valencia, who came after three consecutive victories, all on the go, has forced and in the second half, but Cobeno rejected Jonas’ shot.
Rayo has become dangerous to end of the game. First, Lass Bangoura put to work on Diego Alves. Then, Trashorras stole the ball from Tino Costa and obtained a penalty kick in the 83rd minute. Chori Dominguez hadn’t mercy of his former team and scored the goal that decided the winner.
Rayo won with 1-0 at Mestalla – the first ever victory in this arena – and checked the 3rd away win in this Primera Division season. For Valencia is the 2nd home defeat in a row and the fans are upset: the supporters demanded the dismissal of President Manuel Llorente!
