Manchester City officials have already started negotiations to bring to the team, even in the winter, a valuable keeper, to make more competition for Joe Hart.
After the England national team goalkeeper had a few matches in which disappointed, the Etihad Stadium chiefs were looking for other top goalkeepers, including here Iker Casillas (32) from Real Madrid and Willy Caballero (32 years) from Malaga.
The Premier League runners-up want to take advantage of the worst professional period of Casillas’ career, who presently plays for Real Madrid only in the Champions League. The fact that into the goal is prefered Diego Lopez, does not like to Spain’s goalkeeper, who has several times hinted that would leave to another club. And interestingly, the situation remained the same after the departure of Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
Casillas, who has a contract with Real until the summer of 2017, could leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season, but might like a great offer to convince him to make the bags since winter.
The second candidate for Manchester City is Wilfredo Caballero, who is considered a goalkeeper that can perfectly fold demands of the Citizens, especially since he worked with Pellegrini at Malaga.
For the moment Romanian goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon seems to have won his place in goal of City, but his contract expires in the summer, and Pantilimon not seem willing to extend it in the conditions that will not play more than he did it before.
