Sunday August 18 at 21:00 CET Real Madrid will kick off the new Primera Division season with a new coach and a new game formula. The Spanish journalists from daily Marca announced that the Italian tactician who came to replace Mourinho has already decided on the 11 footballers that will send on the pitch in the match against Betis Sevilla.
Under Ancelotti’s command, Real will play a 4-4-1-1 system, at least initially, with Ronaldo second striker behind the Frenchman Benzema. Into the Galacticos goal returns Iker Casillas, the Iberian being reserve at the end of the mandate of Jose Mourinho.
The new “pearl” of Madrid, Isco, is also announced in the starting 11. He will play on the left flank of the Galactic offensive while Ozil will play on the right wing.
Perhaps the biggest surprises in Ancelotti’s team are Dani Carvajal and Casemiro’s presence in the starting team. Both have 21 years old and came to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer in exchange for amounts that not exceeding 7 million euros. Carvajal will play on the right flank of defense while the Brazilian Casemiro will be paired in the middle of the field with Modric.
