The former Rossoneri player thinks that Pippo Inzaghi would be better as AC Milan coach, compared to another glory of Milan, Clarence Seedorf.
Milan is going through a very bad period at the start of this season. 13th position after the first 13 rounds in Serie A is not at all a performance to appease Massimiliano Allegri. In the last stage, the Rossoneri have obtained only a draw at San Siro, 1-1 with Genoa, and the Italian tactician’s chances of being sacked are getting bigger.
Allegri’s possible replacement were rumored to be Inzaghi and Seedorf, former players of Milan. Of the two, Gianluca Zambrotta said he would choose hia fellow-country, who presently trains youth club’s academy, Primavera.
“At this moment in time it will probably be left to Allegri to lead the side out of this situation,” said former Italy international to RAI Sport.
Regarding the situation in which is presently Milan, Zambrotta says that lack of experience among Rossoneri’s players is cause of this disappointing route.
“I think there is a lack of experience in the squad. But I still think Allegri has control of the squad.”
“This is a difficult moment for the team and they unfortunately can’t count on players such as Mattia De Sciglio and Stephan El Shaarawy, players who really helped last term.” concluded Zambrotta.
