The Galatasaray coach says his team did not deserve to lose 4-1 the away match with Borussia Dortmund.
The match the Signal Iduna Park meant in 99% Galatasaray’s elimination from the Champions League. The Turkish grouping lost 4-1 against Borussia, and has a single point after the first four matches of the group stage.
The hosts opened the scoring in minute 39 by Marco Reus, as in the 54th minute to double the lead by Sokratis Papastathopoulos Dortmund. And although Hakan Balta has managed to reduce the difference in 69 minutes, Ciro Immobile (73 ‘) and Semih Kaya (84′ own goal) took the score to 4-1.
And at the end of the match coach Cesare Prandelli said that his team did not deserve to lose so cruelly, considering the effort that they put on the pitch his footballers.
“When you look at our performance, it wasn’t a fair result,” said the former Italy manager.
“The guys worked very hard and, compared to the first game in Istanbul, we have improved.
“We conceded the goals because of some small mistakes, but we’ll get better in time.
