Real Madrid started well this season and has won UEFA Super Cup, president Florentino Perez saying that expects as many trophies into the club’s showcase.
Real Madrid played this week the UEFA Super Cup against FC Sevila. Carlo Ancelotti’s team managed to win 2-0 thanks to goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.
It was a game dominated from start to finish by Los Blancos, who won this match without the engines rev up. It seems that Real has a very strong team in the 2014-15 season and the club’s president Florentino Perez has expressed his desire to win as many trophies this campaign.
“We didn’t play badly for the little time we have been training and we are thrilled with this win,” Perez is quoted as saying by Marca.
“But is gives us the desire to keep trying to improve. That’s Madrid’s history, without arrogance. That’s how our parents taught us.
“We want to keep winning titles and so we have prepared well for the new season.”
After this duel between two clubs from La Liga, Spain has won the 11th Super Cup, being the country with the most trophies of this kind, Perez being very excited about that.
“It was a party for Spain,” Perez added. “We’re very happy because there were two Spanish teams.”
