The Colombian star from AS Monaco is wanted by Real Madrid. The grouping from Principality could accept as currency likes of Fabio Coentrao, Casemiro, Morata or Diego Lopez.
One of the main goals of Real Madrid heads this summer is offensive midfielder from AS Monaco, James Rodríguez. The 22-year-old footballer was transferred in Ligue 1 last summer for the amount of € 45 million, paid by Monaco to FC Porto.
Before the start of the World Cup in Brazil, James was quoted at € 35 million, but his good developments with Colombia’s national team amounted his share on the transfers market, and interest from the big clubs.
According to Spanish media, James Rodríguez is monitored by the Santiago Bernabeu grouping since 2007, when he won the World Cup with Colombia U17.
Journalists from AS estimated the price that Real would pay for James, especially if Angel di Maria will be sold this summer. It rises to an impressive amount of 80 million €. This fair is the more plausible of Monaco as its interest in players such as Fabio Coentrao, Casemiro, Morata and Diego Lopez, all of them being on the list.
A week ago Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has publicly stated that he would like to have early next season on James, especially after scoring six goals in Brazil and leads the top scorers table at the World Cup.
And Colombian player has expressed his desire to play in La Liga, and in another interview said that between Real and Barca, would choose the Bernabeu grouping.
