Sir Alex Ferguson, worried before the match against CFR Cluj: “I do not want another nightmare!”

CFR Cluj will host Manchester United this evening in the second match of the Railwaymen in Group H of the Champions League.

British coach Sir Alex Ferguson admitted he feared moments of weakness that showed his players in the defensive department in the beginning of the season and requiring them to focus more in the Champions League.

“The first halves with Southampton, Liverpool and Tottenham, have been a nightmare. I do not think we won any tackle. We need to do something about it. We really need to focus more, we can not get goals so easily,” said Ferguson.

However, Sie Alex is afraid that foreign players simulate more than the English ones, which harm to United’s game.

“It’s a subject that I do not like, but the experience of recent years I can say bluntly that foreign players simulate more than the English” said the technician.

After the first 6 rounds in the Premier League, Manchester United is 3rd place in the ranking, with 12 points. Interestingly, except the match against Wigan, won by the Red Devils with 4-0, United was led in each of the other games and managed to twist three times: with Fulham, Southampton and Liverpool.
