English star David Beckham is on the verge of taking a club in Spain. Footballer currently evolving at LA Galaxy is in advanced talks with Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani to take the Malaga.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Beckham wore a series of negotiations with the Sheikh from Qatar and is expected to take 75% stake at the Spanish club. The source also notes that Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani would like to take the lead of some companies in the Middle East, companies controlled by Beckham and his associate, the former American football player Alexi Lalas. To take over those companies, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani is willing to give up to 75% of his rights he has at Malaga.
Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani took over the club in June 2010 and after investing heavily in last season. is willing to withdraw due to poor performance obtained by the team compared to the amount invested in the budget of the grouping from Andalusia.
