Arsenal’s manager has made some ‘investigations’ lately and discovered why his footballers suffer injuries so frequently: MEDICINES.
Arsene Wenger had big problems this season with injuries inhis lot, which cost him and first position in Premier League and elimination from the Champions League.
A few weeks ago the French manager said he will deal specifically with this issue and find the cause. He found it. His players injured so often because of medical treatments from their extra sport life.
“Some of the injuries are down to the medication that the players take that you don’t even know about,” said Wenger. “Then you realise afterwards that they took this medication – but that’s not prudent.
“Maybe the liver doesn’t work as well because of the medication. The toxins don’t go as quickly out of the body as they should and they get tired.
“If you lose your hair and if you’ve taken something to make your hair grow it might not be good, especially for the rest of your body.
“Medication always pushes a part of your body and is sometimes detrimental to other parts of your body.”
Since earlier this year Arsenal players suffered 29 injuries, in the moment players like Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny or Theo Walcott being unavailable. Aaron Ramsey will return only in tomorrow’s match with Everton after he sat on the sidelines for more than three months.
