Real Madrid not giving up the idea of transfer Gareth Bale this summer. After endless discussions and negotiations more or less complicated, Wednesday night the group led by Florentino Perez has made a final offer for the Gaelic footballer from Tottenham.
According to press reports in Spain, Real advanced a last price of 110 million euros, which includes in transaction and Portugal’s Fabio Coentrao who will make the move to Spurs. Virtually, Real is willing to pay in exchange for Bale 85 million euros cash, plus the Portuguese international, while Tottenham requires 90 million euros, plus Coentrao.
In fact, it seems that here lies the key to the whole business. Real paid 25 million euros for the Portuguese when they bought him from Benfica in 2011. Instead, Tottenham consider that Portuguese at the moment is not worth more than 20 million euros on the transfer market.
According tothe newspaper AS, today chances are that Bale’s transfer to Real to be solved soon. The Spanish notes that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is tempted to accept the latest offer made by Florentino Perez, especially that Bale seems on edge the most in recent days. The Welsh star was hardly persuaded to train and did not play in friendlies, so Tottenham will not be able to rely on his services at the start of the new Premier League season, to be held this weekend.
