Incidents caused by AS Monaco fans while celebrating the title winning in the second league could attract a penalty of two points in the standings in Ligue 1 for the team that paid almost 150 million on transfers this summer.
The team coached by Claudio Ranieri was forgiven of the point deduction after called the initial decision which was taken by the French Football Federation committees. Also, Monaco had suspended their ground for the first fixture in Ligue 1. Would have had to serve it on Saturday in the match against Montpellier, but they were forgiven again.
