The grouping from the Bernabeu has expressed several times admiration for Tottenham’s star, but from a few weeks have quiet waters. Bale is now on vacation, and probably wanted to stay away from all the rumors circulating around him.
However, the footballer’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, made one last statement which put in alert all pretenders on getting Bale’s signature.
“Bale has not said no, nor yes. There’s no offer from Madrid; they have to talk between themselves and we will see what happens. He was at Malaga airport, he has been in Marbella on holiday. He comes back to Tottenham for pre-season training next week”
Even if you said some time ago that is very pleased to be working under the command of Villas-Boas, Bale has a great upset. Not playing in the Champions League, so that could make him to leave the grouping from White Hart Lane.
“When you play in the Premier League, say you are playing against a lower-end team, they set up to defend all the time, they set up to block you off. But when you play in the Champions League, all the other teams are used to winning every week, so it’s more of an open game, it’s more attacking, end-to-end. No one’s used to defending, everyone’s used to attacking and trying to win games, so it’s just all against all.”
The emotions of Champions League anthem have overwhelmed the striker two seasons ago, when he had the chance to play in the most prestigious competition at club level.
“The music is a massive thing. When we first got into the Champions League, it’s one of the things that most of the lads were looking forward to, hearing it in the stadium. It’s little things like that which make it special.” concluded Bale.
