Henrik Larsson made his return to the field in an official match, but the former star of Celtic, Manchester United and Barcelona was not the star of the game, but his son Jordan, who is only 15 years old.
The former Swedish international has played the last seven minutes of the final game to avoid relegation between Hogaborg and Tenhult, in the fourth division in Sweden. Larsson had played last time in an official football game four years ago.
Hogaborg won 4-2, Jordan Larsson being the scorer of one of the goals, so that the team where Henrik began his football carrer 35 years ago managed to avoid relegation.
Obviously that at the end was the touching moment, when the two embraced each other and Larsson managed what few manage, to play both father and son in a team in an official game.
Henrik Larsson won the 2006 UEFA Champions League with Barcelona, and two La Liga titles, also bearing in his record four championship titles in Scotland with Celtic, one in Premier League with United, and two cups of Holland with Feyenoord.
He has 106 selections in the Swedish national team for which he scored 37 goals. In 1994 he won a bronze medal at the World Cup in the United States.
