Florentino Perez: “Begins a new era in Madrid”

by Football Pub on Wednesday, June 5th, 2013

Florentino Perez was presented as Real Madrid chairman for the next four years. The head of the Blancos had no rival in the leadership of the team, and will maintain his policy of bringing only top football players on the Santiago Bernabeu.

But Florentino Perez gets a first shot. The media in Portugal confirms rumors about Ronaldo’s departure. A Bola says that the striker will not extend his contract which expires in 2015. The Portuguese media also notes that CR7 does not want to continue in Madrid and seeks other team.

In connection with Manchester United, Ronaldo would have an offer of 60 million euros if he can go free from Madrid, also notes the same source.

“Prior to coming to Real, the team had 30 million euros budget, and now there are 300 million euros. Today begins a new era at Madrid,” said Florentino Perez immediately after his reconfirmation as leader of club.
