UEFA Champions League logoAt Grimaldi Forum, in Monaco, the 2011-2012 UEFA Champions League group stage draw took place at 4.45 pm UK time ( 5.45 pm CET) on August 25, 2011.

32 teams qualify for the 2011-2012 Champions League Group Stages. There were four pots prepared prior to the drawing of lots for the UCL group stages. Each group consisted of a single member from each pot. The UEFA Emergency Panel has decided to replace Fenerbahce SK with Trabzonspor AS after the Turkish FA withdrew Fenerbahce from Champions League. No two teams from the same country can be drawn together in the same group.

Group B: Inter Milan, CSKA Moscow, Lille, Trabzonspor

Group C: Manchester United, Benfica, Basel, Otelul Galati

Group D: Real Madrid, Lyon, Ajax, Dinamo Zagreb

Group E: Chelsea, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Genk

Group F: Arsenal, Marseille, Olympiakos, Borussia Dortmund
